Director of State-funded technology group has been tapped to become the next head of the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the third person to hold that position under gov. Jay Nixon.
Nixon introduced Jason Hall, currently Executive Director of Corporate technology, Missouri on Thursday in the Jordan Valley Innovation Center in Springfield. Hall has held this position since 2009, where she has been working on interesting and developing high-technology companies and scientific to Missouri.
“We have the right person at just the right job at the right time,” said Nixon.
Hall replaces David Kerr, who last month said that he withdrew at the end of the year. Director of economic development of the first Nixon is Linda Martinez, a lawyer from St. Louis.
