Packers and Giants met today for the fifth time in five seasons with Green Bay won three of four last … unless they’re the NFC Championship Game loss to Giants in the 2007 postseason.
Today they are fighting for the right to meet the 49ers next weekend with Super Bowl XLVI sleep at stake. Should be interesting matchup between resting, defending champion Packers and engineering giant. (All times ET.)
6: 51 PM: Rodgers and Jennings was unable to connect at the corner of the end zone on a roll it seems they hit so many times this year. Packers 33-yard FG satisfied that Crosby just sneak in a straight right. Giants 20, Packers 13
6: 49 PM: Second-year RB package James Starks‘ 29-Yard run was the longest play Green Bay day.
6: 47 PM: Fox argued the Packers with a drop of six today. Not sure RB Ryan Grant should get one after being crushed by giant’s Deon Grant. But if the Packers lose, they would be upset to constantly gnaw on his own.
